Cry Wolfe
Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on I.D. Investigation Discovery
"Cry Wolfe" is the true case-file adventures of Brian Wolfe, a private investigator who brings to this new series an entertainingly detailed look at what such a detective does. He's the kind often hired by spouses who suspect that their wives or husbands are up to no good. There's something - there's everything - compelling about his step-by-step approach, which he explains, in plain-spoken terms mostly free of drama, as he goes along. And we go with him via filmed re-enactments-to the bungalow where somebody's husband may be cheating on his wife with the real-estate agent. Or to the restaurant where another husband's dinner with a lady not his wife is about to be interrupteddespite the investigator's plea not to do soby that very wife. Whether these spouses' suspicions are valid won't, for obvious reasons, be revealed here.
